Reunited and it feels so good!

After a day and a half of no clothes, makeup, or, most importantly, her iPad charger, Amanda has finally been reunited with her luggage. Well, we are waiting for it in the lobby enjoying Czech beer for a dollar. Not sure where it has been this whole time, but on behalf of Kk and I...Lufthansa, we thank you. in the meantime, we have spent nearly all day shopping around Prague, leading Amanda to keep all her receipts because you better believe that girl is claiming that shit on her taxes. Thank god she has her razor and she can shave her damn armpits.

To sum up the day...three girls, one city, 5 hours of trying to find a beer garden that ended up being closed. Never will we listen to our hostel receptionist again for recommendations on where to go and where to eat. The first time he led us to a bar that was empty except for an old and extremely drunk Czech. Today, based on his recommendation, we were trying to find this castly/fortress on the south side of the city, that also had an "amazing" beer garden, which led us to walk in circles in the rain. We eventually found it, and yes it was cool, but the journey hindered our spirits, mainly because the beer garden was closed. As chicagoans, we should have known to stay away from the south side of the city :) That being said, I would just like to note for the record that I told them what direction we needed to go in when we first got off the train and I was vetoed. "Ask a local who speaks English," they said. Welp, all that led to was us walking for ages and me getting splooged on by a great dane's slobber. Oh, and these are the only jeans i brought. No one speaks English here.

I now know what it is like for a foreigner in the USA, it is extremely frustrating to try and ask a question and they look at you like you're crazy. It's all Greek to me...
